IKEA Café @ IPC, Ikano Power Centre Damansara

Coffee anyone? We have been wanting to visit IKEA café in IPC Shopping Centre for awhile and we finally made an effort to materialise it yesterday.

Unlike the IKEA restaurant where you’d find main meals like meatballs and salmon dishes, you’d find coffees, juices, cakes and light bites such as pies here.

I’ve got myself a double shots latte  (RM9.90 16oz – double shots because I feared that the single shot will be too watered down by the milk), and a classic chicken pie (RM7.90). Pretty sure that’s a failed latte art haha so there’s room for improvement, both latte and chicken pie were served too hot so be mindful when you get your food, let it rest a little before you start to eat.

We have also ordered Ice Blended Mocha (RM9.90 16oz), a butter croissant (RM2.90) and a chocolate muffin (RM5), wouldn’t recommend ice blended mocha lol – Starbucks is just few steps away and their’s are much better though it’s 1.5 x the price of Ikea Cafe’s. Butter croissant is heavenly, so is chocolate muffins – rich and soft, something I would pack for my kids for snacks. 🙂

Summary – go for their pastries, not beverages, though bottled juices are probably better, that’s for me to find out next time around. 🙂
